When importing a windows created PDF document into a MAC an inversion occurs.

Top and Bottom and left and right are reversed.

If importing to windows 10 PDF file is translated correctly

Document properties for the Macintosh shows the following

Application PDF Creator Version 1.1.0

PDF producer : MAC OS x 10.12.2 Quartz PDF Context

PDF Version 1.3 (Acrobat 4x)

The PDF that is imported and works correctly on Windows 10 has the following properties.

Application PDF Creator Version 1.1.0

PDF Producer: GPL Ghost Script 9.0

PDF Version: 1.4 (Acrobat 5X )

Thanks for any help

But you aren't just copying. Because if you were, the PDFs would have the same Creator. So something you are doing, probably on the Mac, is remaking the PDF. Macs often try to help, and can get in the way.

So please describe the EXACT steps you follow. At each point observe the current app name which is at left of the menu bar and include that in your reply. Please make NO Assumptions in your reply.

You mean just copying a PDF? How was each PDF made?

Correct just copying a PDF from a windows system. To a USB stick (Sandisk 16gb) to a MAC. With what appears to be 10.x software.

Can you explain what "import" means to you in the two cases, since it clearly isn't as simple as getting as opening two identical documents

Importing from a USB Stick to Mac OS
