Is there a light version of pdf reader?

Installing the standard version takes a lot of memory in my system and I dont like to open pdf files in my browser as well.

Any recommendations on lighter version? !

Adobe doesn't make a lighter version. I guess you could almost consider Adobe Acrobat Reader to be a lighter version of Adobe Acrobat.

Installing uses very little memory. But lots of disk space, which is entirely different. You have the option of whether PDF files open in Internet Explorer; other browsers ignore Reader.
