Is there an Adobe Reader 2020 available or is it only Adobe Reader dc that is a free download

The Adobe Reader dc is creating alot of unnecessary issues (wants to be the 'Default" when opening .pdf(s) even though we have Adobe Acrobat Pro X as the default) so is there an Adobe Reader 2020 available?

Thanks

You should never, repeat never have both Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Standard/Pro either of the same or different versions installed in parallel on the same system. They and will conflict with each other.

With regards to portfolios generated by Acrobat 10, with the “end of life” of Flash (not a subject for discussion in this community), neither Acrobat Reader nor Acrobat Standard/Pro are any longer able to display the “furniture” of PDF portfolios. The underlying files of the portfolios are accessible with a generic screen display, but the customized screens and interactions that were available via Flash can no longer be created, modified, and/or displayed.

Yes. You can get it here: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/Acrobat2020/2000130002/

There are updates available to it, so use the Check for Updates command under Help after the installation.

If you have Acrobat you SHOULD not need to have Reader installed

Not correct because when you have Adobe Acrobat pro X and have created a "portfolio" it will NOT allow one to open the "portfolio".

So back to the original question posted.
