iskysoft converted all of my pdfs

I recently downloaded iskysoft, not really knowing what it was or what it could do.  Before I knew what was happening, it converted all of my Adobe icon pdfs to iskysoft pdfs.  I immediately uninstalled iskysoft, but it still did not covert the pdfs back to the state where they all bear the red adobe icon.  I want the adobe icon to reappear for every pdf in my files.

    Try this.

Select a pdf that is on your computer (click once to highlight). Right-click, choose "Open with>Choose default program". Select Adobe Reader and check the box near the bottom that says "Always use this program to open this kind of file".

    What OS do you have?

It's pretty easy to fix. Just google "How do I change file associations for <add your OS here>".

Thanks for the help.  I have Windows 7.  I tried your suggestion, but for some reason .pdf is not on that lengthy list of file associations, although "pdfxml" is on the list.
