Issue with a converted pptx file to pdf

I converted a power point document in pdf and when I try to open the pdf on my MacBook, the colour background disappear. I only have a power point theme background on the first page, all the rest of the document appears normally. The document appears OK when opening on my iPhone. Any idea on this problem would help! Thanks
