It seems that fillable forms, such as the example attached, do not allow you to email from within Acrobat Reader. The error "SUBMIT CANCELLED". pops up rather than an email window. Other PDFs work fine. This is in all versions going back as far as 2015.023.20070 and as recently as 2018.009.20050. I have attached a link to a problem doc for your examination.

Thanks for any help with this.

    Hello Quintin,

Sorry for the delay in response to your query and apologize for the inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you are not able to send the form using the Email button in Adobe Reader, Is that correct?

The above-attached form is created in LiveCycle  Designer and it's the PDF file property that you cannot send it as an attachment in email using the Adobe Reader DC as well as this PDF file is a restricted PDF file. You may have to contact the PDF file owner to make changes in the PDF properties.

You may try to send any other PDF form as an email using the Adobe Reader DC email button. You may refer to Attach to email option is not working | Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC

Feel free to update this discussion in case you need further assistance.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, our vendor that requires these docs (also the creator of these docs), was the on that suggested I post here with our issue. It turns out, that they can now reproduce the problem, and realize it is something with their docs. Hopefully they figure it out soon.

    Thanks.
