Issue with sending PDF page as a PDF attachment from IE11

When I view a PDF page in IE11 on my Windows10 Pro Anniversary Edition computer, I sometimes need to send the page as an attachment in PDF format.  From within IE11, I select FILE-SEND-Page by Email.  Instead of a PDF attachment, I get an HTML attachment.  Before I upgraded, the attachment was a PDF file.  Now, it's an HTML file.  Any ideas on what might be causing this?  I have checked to see that that the Adobe Plugin is installed and enabled, and it is.  Thank you in advance for any ideas on how to resolve this issue.

Hi dannyt82663967,

I am sorry for the delay in response.

You may try resetting Internet Explorer settings and see if that works.

Please follow the steps given here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/17441/windows-internet-explorer-change-reset-settings

Please confirm the version of Reader/Acrobat installed on the machine.

For ex. to check the version in Acrobat Reader DC, launch Reader DC>navigate to Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Thank You,

Shivam
