Issues with Lines Appearing on Barcodes when editing PDF

Hi,

I seem to have hit a dead end with this, I wanted to post on here to see if there's a way to isolate certain text in order to edit that part without ruining the barcode OR just fix these lines in itself. Thanks so much as it's been very frustrating.

It happens when I'm editing a PDF and all of the boxes show around text, the barcode etc. so that you can edit anything. Ideally I'd like to remove these edit boxes around the barcode without impacting what was already there or potentially isolate the text I want to edit so that that's the only item with an edit box around it?

I've been trying to find answers myself and most similar issues are being solved by unticking these settings in Preferences, but that didn't do anything.

Does anyone have any idea? Thankyou.
