Question

Lags when navigating in a heavy document

I work with heavy PDF documents. There is often a problem with the need to wait for the document (sheet) to be fully loaded for further navigation. This is very annoying, because I often know in advance which area of the document I need to move to and how to scale, but the program does not allow me to do this until the render is completed.
Is there a setting that allows you to restart the page render every time the user has taken any actions to navigate the page (moving, zooming) ? After all, this is how adobe reader works on android platforms.

Hi Engie

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear about the trouble you are experiencing.

Please try the following preference setting and see if that works for you: Go to Edit (Windows) , Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > Page Display > Rendering > Uncheck 'Use Page Cache' > Click OK and reboot the application.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards

Amal
