large text problem with Acrobat Reader

PDF's of engineering drawings created many years ago are not displaying correctly in Acrobat Reader. It is happening only in 2 of 8 Windows machines. Rebooting, reinstalling doesn't help. The files do open correctly in Edge or Chrome. See photo.

On all machines the same version of Acrobat Reader?

I can only check 2 machines because it is late. Mine is the latest version because I uninstalled and reinstalled today.

The other machine where it works correctly has an earlier version.
