Later version of Acrobat Reader

I tried to download a form from Swedish Skatteverket (tax authority) but got the message I would need a later version of Acrobat Reader.

When trying to install this I got the message that an EARLIER (how is that possible) version was found so the installation would abort and declared a failure. Now I am absolutely at a loss.

Does you download the form or does you view the form in a browser?
