Latest Source to get NON-DC Reader?

Sorry, I don't know how to search the forums for posts that DON'T have DC or "document cloud".

Had to re-install my OS last night and of course that means I'm not re-installing a lot of software. And not bothering with some of the dead weight programs, so there is a bright side to this.

BUT it turns out that preserving my files didn't include the download of Adobe Reader. No executable for it found in the downloads folder.

I found one thread which had a link to an Adobe page which at first had no NON-DC Reader option, then it did, but now it doesn't any more.

Help? I've poked around on the Adobe website and find nothing but Document Cloud stuff. I insist on being able to save my stuff locally and don't want to mess with the cloud for my .pdf documents and downloads.

Plus I seem to remember that the DC Reader pukes on fillable forms. Or requires some arcane setting to be changed from defaults. I do know that it doesn't work with Microsoft Edge.

Thank you.

No version of Reader works with Edge. Edge won't allow it. You want Reader in a browser, use IE.

You can get XI by going here and choosing it under the version option: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

DC works fine on fillable forms. It is not however compatible with Edge. Edge uses it's own pdf viewer which does puke on pdf forms (maybe that's what you were thinking).
