Question

Little black box in top right corner

Sometimes I accidentally activate a little box in the upper right corner that highlights the page position (I suppose). It is distracting to me so I wish to disable it but found no control in preferences. Any ideas?

Thanks,

JH

    Hi Jvh2452,

Can you help us with the screenshot of that box, to understand the issue in better manner?

I assume you are referring to the "Read Mode" button which looks like this?

If this is what you are talking about, you may check this Viewing PDFs and viewing preferences, Adobe Acrobat

    Regards,

What is the exact version of Adobe Reader you are working on?

You may refer to the forum thread Disable popup preview when clicking on scroll bar  where quite similar issue has been addressed.

And if its still doesn't work, I would suggest you to install the latest version of Adobe Reader which is Adobe Reader DC and try in that.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions
