Question

Location of AutoRecovered Files (Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, Windows)

My computer shutdown unexpectedly, in the process shutting downdown Adobe Acrobat Pro XI before I had a chance to save the changes I had made to multiple files.  As I have the AutoRecovery setting on and set to 5 min, when this has happened in the past I simply re-launch Adobe and a prompt will ask me if I want to open all the AutoSaved files. When I tried this time, the prompt didn't show up.

How can I either get this prompt to launch or access the file location for the AutoSaved files?

If there's no message it's likely there are no saved copies, but if they do exist you should be able to find them under this folder:

C:\Users\<Your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\11.0\AutoSave

If you find a file there copy it to another folder, rename it from .tmp to .pdf and then try to open it.
