Lock pattern

I installed the Adobe reader app and was prompted to lock (or not lock) the app for security reasons. I chose to lock it and was taken to the page which allowed me to enter a lock pattern. However, the app wanted me to unlock it from this page and never allowed me to create my own lock pattern. Now I am unable to access Adobe reader.
