login with touch ID MacBook Air

Question

I don't know why, but from time to time Adobe Reader asks me to sign in, and I've been doing this with my username and then I have to enter my password. At some point, I remember the app asking if I wanted to sign in using touch ID, but I said no - don't ask me why!

But I'm tired of having to go look for my password every time the app demands that I sign in. What do I have to for the app to allow me to login using touch ID on my MacBook Air?
