Losing attachments after signing
We have Reader XI (11.0.23) installed on all workstations across our company but am having an issue with keeping attachments in a PDF after signing.
To preface, I'm creating forms using Acrobat Standard 2017 (17.011.30143) with an 'attach file(s) button'. JavaScript tools aren't included in Standard so I'm limited in options and have used buttons from templates found here on these forums (https://files.acrobat.com/a/preview/12abdfeb-b387-4a4d-8e50-c24bf3e018ea and http://acroscript.net/pdf/demos/importFileJS_v1.pdf )
In Acrobat, there's no issue when attaching files, signing the document and saving, the document is flattened but all attachments remain but only a small number of users have Acrobat. The issue is with Reader, attaching files is not an issue but signing and then saving the document just flattens the form without any attachments.
