Mac 10.10.5 & latest Acrobat DC - No Pages Selected to Print error - cannot print documents

Problem:

When trying to print I get 2 dialog boxes:

1)     The document could not be printed

2)     There were no pages selected to Print

Tried "All" and "Current Page" on Print dialog box

3)     Printer Name contains more than 10 characters.   Changed this setting from "last printer used" per forum suggestions.   Printer is HP Officejet 4620 Series (only one printer, directly connected to the Mac)

This is the version of the Acrobat Reader.  Check for updates says this is the latest version.  So I think I'm up-to-date.

Architecture: x86_64

Build: 15.20.20042.205528

AGM: 4.30.66

CoolType: 5.14.5

JP2K: 1.2.2.37137

================

I have searched the forums and tried several things already.   I set enhanced security settings and disabled "Enabled Enhanced Security"

and adjusted Documents "View documents in PDF/A Mode" to Never.   I found one thread that appeared to be an exact match but the solution was not posted and not followed up.

Have stopped/restarted Acrobat post changes above.

================

Like everyone else, never had this problem before updating to this version.  I updated, removed and reinstalled just to make sure.

Persistent across multiple PDF documents I have attempted to print.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi Toddh31761738,

Thanks for sharing the detailed information.

Could you also try printing the document as Image to see if that helps.

Print > Advanced> Check Print as Image

and also, are you experiencing this problem with all the files or with a specific one?

Regards.

Did as you instructed - exactly the same error messages.   Occurs on multiple files.

Of possible interest, the Print Advanced window you have pasted in above is not the same as the one I get on the Mac.  The window is Advanced Print Setup and has Postscript and Color Options only, as well as the Image check box you mentioned.

Hi Toddh31761738,

Thanks for trying the steps.

Could you also try creating another user account or Root account and check the same? as it could be user account specific error.

Also, if there is any possibility to try it with the different printer for the testing purpose (if you have any)
