mac os 12.7.3 adobe reader Version 2023.008.20533 crash

MacBook Air M1, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, OS 12.7.3, Adobe Reader  2023.008.20533 

For about a week, every single time I quit Reader, I get crash report popups that I have to wade through. This is a PITA because the buttons only respond to the mouse/trackpad, not Return. It doesn't matter what file I have opened.  It doesn't matter if I close the file before quitting.

Are there any preference files I can delete so Reader opens in a virgin state and hopefully start sworking properly agaiin?
