MAC OS. Acobat DC reader iEditing Issue

I have a MAC OS Catlina installed. Latest Adobe Reader DC installed with an account that allows editing pdf docs. However, when I attempt to edit an existing pdf doc, Adobe sends me to the Adobe DC page and asked if I want an annual subscription.

Hi Daniel,

 

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to edit the PDF and getting the option to subscribe.

 

I have checked your Adobe account with the email you are using on this community and found that you have recently changed your subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Please logout of the application and reboot the computer once and login back to the application with the same Adobe ID/Email and check.
