Mac - unable to open acrobat reader DC

Hi.. my Acrobat reader has always run perfectly.. but today when wanting to open a pdf fil, acrobat doesnt open at all. The top bar is available, but that is the only thing . Tried to uninstall it and reinstall, but same problem.

I have a mac air, running MacOS 10.12.6.

Really weird - hope to get it fixed real soon, as i have an extremely important deadline in 48 hours.

Hi Steffan,

Sorry for late response.

As per the issue description, you mentioned that you are not able to open PDF files in Acrobat Reader in MAC OS 10.12.6.

Please try following troubleshooting steps :

Open few files with Reader, go to Window -> Cascade -> Tile and see if that brings up the PDFs.

And, if possible, please share the dot version of Reader installed, you may refer the following link to check the version: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC
