Make secondary email address for Adobe account the primary one

I want to make my surrent secondary address the primary one. 

 

When I try to modify the primary address field to the use the address that's the secondary one, there's an error 'Email already used' - I'm guessing that's because it's set as the secondary adddress.   Deleting the secondarry address it doesn't fix the problem.

 

Hoew should I make the change?  I'm going to lose access to the primary address in a couple of weeks so change tis is critical to my continuing to access the account.

You may also try changing the secondary email with an alternate email first and then changing the primary email address.
