Markup on IOS not saving

Using IOS 15.4.1 Ipad pro

-The PDF originated on a Windows 10 PC and was sent from Outlook.

- I open a PDF attachment from Apple Mail on Ipad

- Using Apple pen markup the PDF

- Using the Share function I send the PDF to the recipient using Apple mail

- When sent back opened in Outlook on a Windows 10 PC. 

- When received and viewed by the recipient some or none of the markups are present. 

 

This symptom is intermittent, We have ruled out any user errors.  

Has anyone experienced this issue?

I hope you are doing well. I am sorry for the experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

 

The issue is highlighted with the engineering team and a bug is logged. We will be trying to fix this in the next update.

 

Is the issue with a specific file or with all the files?

Also, can you please share a screen recording of the situation so that we can understand better.
