McAfee product bundling when all I wanted to install is the Reader

Hi. This is really a complaint more than a support request.

Why am I forced to install McAfee products when I download and install Acrobat Reader?

I had the 2019 version of Reader and couldn't find any "Check update" so downloaded the latest from get.adobe.com, then found it automatically installed McAfee Safe Connect and another McAfee product without my authorisation.

I immediately removed those product while keeping the Reader.

I use many many third party products and this is the first time I've encountered such rubbish unauthorised bundling for years.

I tried to complain on the website but best I can get was a virtual assistant which was useless.

So here I am.
