Merci d'avance.

Hello @martine_76190

I hope you are doing well, and thank you for reaching out.

The issue you’re describing, PDF files turning into .prn Files are not printed when printing; this usually happens because the Print to File option is enabled or the printer driver is misconfigured.

Check Print Settings

When you click Print, ensure that "Print to File" is not checked.
Select your actual printer (not “Adobe PDF” or “Microsoft Print to PDF”) if you want a physical print.

Update Adobe Acrobat Reader

Open Acrobat Reader.
Go to Menu >Help > Check for Updates and install any available updates.
If updates fail, uninstall Acrobat Reader using the Acrobat Cleaner tool, restart the machine, and reinstall the latest version of Acrobat Reader.

Please make sure that you have the latest printer driver and firmware installed.

If you have Acrobat installed, please log in with your Adobe ID(email), and if you have a license, the app will be activated automatically. We have verified your Adobe ID (email) that you used to log in to the community, and we don't see any active license/subscription to Acrobat. If you only need to print PDFs and not subscribe to Acrobat Pro, you can use Adobe Acrobat Reader (free).

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
