Microsoft Information Protection Plugin broken with version 2022.001.20117 version of Adobe Reader

Question

Hi,

when I install the latest version of Adobe Reader DC and later try to install the Microsoft Informatiom Protection Plugin it is not possible to install the plugin. The installer quits with the error:

On a machine where an older version of Adeobe Reader and the MIP plugin was installed will be updated to version 2022.001.20117 the plugin is also broken. It asks for an e-mail address and later just brings up the following error message:

Anyone out there who can help with that?

Damn, looks like I've choosen to download the wrong plugin. I've tried the one for Acrobat and not for the reader &#128542;
