Missing icons in Fill and Sign

Hello,

I created a fillable form that requires multiple users to fill out and sign on the same form.  I learned that some users, who only have Adobe Reader, weren't able to fill out the form.  They received this message The author of this form has specified the field which you can fill. Click on any field to start filling form and the Fill and Sign feature were missing most icons (including 'Add Text').  I know the work around solution is to Print to PDF but is there a long term solution to this?

Thank you!

Correct answer Bernd Alheit

The fields are no longer interactive because they were set as read-only.

This happens when you sign the file.

Users with Acrobat Reader DC can fill the form fields.

Hi Bernd,

Maybe I wasn't being clear enough in my post.  You're right, users with Acrobat Reader DC can fill the form fields if they are the first one filling it out.  But once the form filled, saved, and passed on to the second user to complete the next portion, the fields are no longer interactive even though it displays this message The author of this form has specified the field which you can fill. Click on any field to start filling form .  The only way for the second user to add texts and sign is by using Fill and Scan, but the icons in Fill and Scan are now missing.

Hope this makes more sense.
