Multiple issues in Windows 10 machine
Good day,
I have a client who is running the most recent version of Adobe Reader DC on Windows 10. When she tries to open multiple PDFs in one window, it crashes her Reader instance. Most of the time, when she has a pdf open and tries to open additional files, they will either NOT open at all or some will and some won't. It's very sporadic. IF she does get the files open that she wants, it will crash and error out.
I tried going in to the properties/preferences window but this also will not open correctly. What opens is a very small window with just an x in the corner. If i do anything but click on the X, the program errors out again. I was going to see what types of options we could turn on or off to try and curb these symptoms.
I am also noticing when she goes into folders with multiple PDFs, selecting one seems to throw the Windows File Explorer into a weird frenzy and the navigation pane at the top of the window turns black and all of the icons/folder paths get squished into the left side of the bar. Looks like a graphical issue.
Troubleshooting steps I have tried:
Repairing the Adobe installation.
Completely uninstalling (with ReVO) and reinstalling Adobe Reader DC.
Updating the Nvidia graphics drivers (for the Navigation pane issues)
Scanning the OS for file system inconsistencies (there were none)
Repairing the Windows image.
I'm not sure what else to do, so here I am. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
