    What error message exactly?

    What says which is incompatible?

Why can't you uninstall and reinstall?

Please be detailed, 'coz we can't look over your shoulder.

I did uninstall the software and installed a new vesion. The reader does open files now. But it still displays an error message, saying that the images are not right
