My app wont shut down hence I cannot restart or shutdown my laptop

The adobe reader app wont shut down or let me delete ot off my app or force quit on my laptop , not allowing me to reset my laptop

1. Is it showing any error message?

2. Did you try closing it from the Activity monitor?

3. Application version?

4. Mac version?

Check if the application is updated to the latest version, if not, update the application and then check if the issue persists.
