My eBook is no longer displaying in Acrobat Reader correctly

I sell an eBook that I've not updated in two years. A customer who purchased it today said that the pages are displaying correctly in AR. So I checked and sure enough it's not. I'm on a Mac and so is customer and it works fine in browser or Mac Preview. But in AR only the cover displays right.  I've attached the screen shots. Not sure what changed in AR.

You obviously can't share an entire ebook but perhaps you could

- extract a single page from it

- check it still shows the problem

- share the single page file

    I didn't know how to extract from the free Adobe Reader so I signed up for a trial for Pro. I tried to extract but get an error trying to do the pages that aren't showing up correctly.  I've attached the screen shot.  Thanks

    Now, this message suggests the file is actually broken - the message means it doesn't understand part of the file. Strange, though, that it should not have happened before. Is it possible that the supposedly unchanged ebook could have been damaged by something?
