Question

my unemployment application keeps reaching them blank even though i filled it out first

oregon, pandemic unemployment initial claim and weekly reports, ea week there after. im told go to site, choose correct form, "open in adobe, save, then while completeing, save often...when done, save. now find their own "upload your file by clicking here" now you choose a file so find the one you just saved, open, send. get a confirmation number and an uploaded successfully msg.  after that never  status avail in their status option                     , finally they leave messages that they get the files but they are blank. cant affore to print and fax them all cant ask them what im doing wrong.SOMETIMES, one gets thru ok.   possible that i dont save form immed.  then fill out fields? sometimes i just start filling it out, THEN i save, name, upload.   so is it because i forget to save their blamk form first?

 

 

ive been waiting on my unempl 3 1/2 mos now; cannot ever get past busy signal there.

Generally when this happens (not all the time of course) it's because you are using something other than Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader to fill out the form. Make sure you download the file to your computer, open Reader then use file>open to open the pdf. Save when finished. Close the file and open it again to be sure everything is there. Then send it to them.

time is of the essence right now.
im also very stubborn every time windows changes, so i was so used to win
7,and only started win 10 about a month ago.now on thay learning curve
too...

when i tried to download reader on my new laptop, it was hard to find
somehow...on their site, even. so what i have is "acrobat reader DC" is
that a problem?

also, unempl said to be sure to use chrome, they have had problems with
other browsers. its infuriating because half the time i look up and
im in IE, this whole laptop is microsoft possessed..all the convenient
email options, i thought were just new to win 10, are only for outlook,
etc. i havent had time to find what used to b windows options to set
default programs, to be sure chrome would be only one automatically.

sorry, TMI.. well, i guess i just need to know if it is the DC version
thats problem ..maybe they just gave reader a new name or i need to find
the older standard.?

Actually, Chrome is the problem. That is why you need to download the pdf and use Reader directly. Chrome and many/most browsers use their own pdf viewers and most of the time that's fine but they do not work well for filling out forms and normally the syptoms you are seeing are what happens when you use the browser pdf viewer. So, download like I instructed and fill it out using Reader (the version you have is fine) and send it back to them.
