Need a pdf reader on a computer not connected to the internet

I tried downloading the installation executable and then burning it to a CD so I could put the executable on a Windows 7 computer with no internet connection.

The application attempted to visit a website.

When I closed IE, the installation aborted and the executable vanished.

I had placed the executable on my desktop and it is no longer there.

    Try downloading the set up again on a different machine (where you do have the internet connection) through the link given below-

    https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

    As mentioned above, when the set up downloaded you can transfer the installer to continue the installation further on the main computer.
