1)     October 2016 I downloaded the adobe feature that allowed me to edit pdf at a costs of $24.99 per month.

2)  The download left permanent opaqe wide black smear marks on my laptop computer screen.

3) I tried to use the new edit feature a few times and was unhappy with it and in November 2016 another $24.99 was charged to my account.

4)  When I saw in December 2016 another deduction was going to be taken, I didn't allow paypal to pay that month and went online to cancel the subscription but you website would not let me cancel the product I couldn't use and left black smear marks on my laptop screen.

5) January 2017 Adobe expired my account my account and now I can not open any PDFs on my laptop...not even PDFs  prior to October 2016.

6) I am 72 years old and this has been a nightmare for me, please help me to be able to open and read my PDF documents in My Documents on my laptop computer.

Please help me get access to my PDF documents.

Thank you.

I have the same type of issues with Adobe Reader DC. It does not work - uninstalled repaired numerous times. There is no one to call, no one to communicate with and I can do not have time to waste on Adobe's web site. So, I uninstalled it and download the Nitro PDF reader off cnet  and no problems.
