Need help to uninstall Acrobat Reader XI in Windows 8

How can I uninstall Acrobat Reader XI from my Windows 8 PC? During installation of Acrobat Reader XI in Windows 8, the install hung at 96%. I let it run for over an hour, but it would not finish. Now I'd like to uninstall the product, but in Control Panel "Uninstall or Change a Program" the Acrobat Reader does not show up.

Yes, it is on my system.

I don't know if this works with Reader XI, but you can try using this tool to remove all traces of all previous versions of Reader:

http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Then, you may try downloading the offline Reader installer from

http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.
