Needs clarification on the scenario i have encountered with adobe acrobat reader application

I have a pdf where i setted values for PDTextField using Arial-unicode-ms  font and the values are visible in the all the browsers but not in adobe acrobat reader.

"Mi 尼莎 알레 आले アレлех àâ€"  this is the text i am tring to display in the fields

 

version of Adobe Acrobat Reader:  version 2024.002.20933

platform and OS version:   windows 11

 will attach the pdf file and the images how i am ble to see in edge and acrobat reader below please have a look

Are you using an external library for this, such as PDFBox?

There are conflicting information in your text fields:

  • There is no V (value) entry. Thus, a viewer can assume them to be empty.
  • The field appearance streams do display some text. Thus, they may not be empty.
  • But these stream contents are not build as described in the PDF specification. So the streams should be ignored?

This can result in different PDF viewers displaying your PDF differently.

 

There also are other structural shortcomings in the form data in your PDF. Please re-read the PDF specification.
