New Adobe Acrobat is a waste of space

Question

Man, if only there was a place to put those floating tools so they didn't cover up the document I'm trying to read...
 
Good thing we have these giant blank grey bars on both the top and side of the page that can't be used for anything beyond taking up screen space.  What a genuis layout.  Who wants space filled with tools when we can just have grey unusable space!
 
[abuse removed] or do they simply never actually use the product they are designing?
 
Maybe both?

You can disable the New Experience quickly:

Steps to enable [and disable] the new experience

To enable the new experience, go to View > Enable new Acrobat and click Restart.
To disable the new experience,
- Windows: Click the hamburger menu ( 3 lines ) at the upper left corner and choose Disable new Acrobat.
- macOS: Go to View > Disable new Acrobat.
