Question

new top margin print setup change needed

I use the Los Angeles Superior Court's new eFiling system due to the coronavirus pandemic, since it replaced manual filing at the clerk's window in the courthouse during the last six months or more. However, when I receive a completed (conformed) petition that was properly eFiled, it no longer shows the clerk's signature with large circular stamp in the square box in the middle of the page (which is now blank – no signature or stamp); instead a 6-point wording has been placed at the top of the page, running in what I would call the top "gutter" area from the extreme left side all the way to the extreme right side of the page. The problem is that any printer that I use (I have 3: Canon, Epson, HP) cannot print anything in this top gutter area (about 1/4": from the paper's top edge downward), which is at the heart of proving to someone to whom I send the form that it has been properly eFiled, since only a small dribble of ink/toner marks that area where the new wording should be! I can see this new wording fine in the PDF file on my monitor, but it just doesn't print properly.  So, my question is how do I change the top margin gutter printer setup of the PDF file to be smaller (even down to only 1/8" would work), so as to print any wording in the gutter area (beyond 1/8" from top) properly? Are other court eFiling systems having the same problem, and what has been done about this?
