Newest version is already installed error.

Hi,

From last 3 days i have been trying to install Adobe Acrobat DC reader, but i am unable to do so.

At the end of the installation process it says that the newest version is already installed, but there is no version installed. I have even tried with Adobe cleaner, but nothing happens.

Laptop: HP

OS: Windows 8 64 bit.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to install Acrobat Reader DC and getting the error 'New version already installed'

Please run the Acrobat Cleaner tool - https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the link https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try installing the application there.
