No longer able to send PDF's as attachments - sending as links

I recently installed PDF Gear and all of a sudden when sharing files from Adobe, they are sending as links instead of PDF attachments within Outlook.  I do not have Always Sent Files as a link checked in my Adobe settings.  I just uninstalled PDF Gear and it did not correct the problem.  I am reading it might be an add-in, but I don't know which one to disable.
