If it declares that the application is installed, then there is no need to worry.
Check if the application open and works without any issue.
If you experience any issue, try to use the cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and restart your system.
Then try to install the application from the link provided below:

Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, 2017, XI, or X
Check if you can install the application without any issue.
