not able to change text, size or color in Adobe Reader, any suggestions?

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with this. I set up a pdf in Acrobat Pro using forms and I understood it was possible to then open it up in Acrobat Reader and change text, text size and color in Reader. So basically I have a template that I want to give out to people that will allow them the change the existing text and also change the text size and color. I've seen this done before but when I open the template in reader I use ctrl/e which is supposed to open the text toolbar but I'm getting instead - properties / no current selection. I'm not certain if I have saved out the original pdf in Acrobat Pro incorrectly but I have tried various options and it still will not allow me to bring up the text tool box in Reader. Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this?

If you're talking about a text form field, you have to enable the Rich Text Formatting option in Acrobat for it to work (you'll find it under the field's Properties, Options tab).

Hi savantphotodesign,Could you please try navigating to Comment section (under Tools>Comment), select Text box in the tools pane>then press Ctrl+E and see if that works.
