Offline documents in Reader

I have PDF documents stored in Dropbox and made them available offline in Dropbox.  I have linked Adobe Reader on my iPad to Dropbox and as such open all my documents through Adobe Reader.  Problem is I cant access any of my documents through Reader when my IPad is not connected to wifi.  Is there any way to make the Dropbox documents available through Reader while offline?  If I export the Dropbox forms locally on the iPad they lose the ability to be sync'd with any form amendments made in Dropbox.  Thoughts?

      Hi Mikeh,

      Sorry to say that it is not possible to access the Dropbox PDFs through Reader when you are offline.

      However, you may try the workaround as suggested by dereklaadobe.com in this thread Offline Dropbox files [iOS]

      Check if that helps you with your work.

      Not sure I understand what you want to happen. Dropbox is only available online. What could Reader do other than download the files while you're online to make them accessible?

      Thanks for the reply Graffiti.

      Lets try another way.  I have loaded my dropbox PDF into Reader on the iPad.  The only way I can access these files offline is to pick them one by one and export them to the local folder which I can then access offline.  I'm not too warm about this as I lose my file sync capability.  Question is though, instead of exporting one file at a time to local is there a way to batch export my folder with all my documents instead of one by one?

      I'm sorry. You may have me on this one. I don't use Dropbox and I'm not sure familiar with the Reader integration. Hopefully someone else will have an answer for you. Good luck.
