On-prem/cloud based solution to burn Watermarks in PDF

Hello All

Is there any REST API end-point nor a SDK that I can leverage to embed a Watermark in a PDF. I'm surprised that there are several 3rd party companies that can do this, however Adobe doesn't have a solution. Appreciate if anyone in this forum can point me in the right direction.
