Out of memory error in Adobe Acrobat 2017

Using Adobe Acrobat 2017 and plotting DWG files for Civil 3D 2018 to PDF and then plotting these files.  When I open the PDF to view and plot I am getting an "out of memory" error and not all my content visualizes.  Wondering if this is a function of the printer, or computer, running a desktop with 32G RAM.  The DWG to PDF files have a substantial amount of hatching which seems to be the problem, but would like to figure out how to up the memory so that these types of files can be visualized.
