Page counter delay

When I scroll to a new page there is a delay in the page counter changing to the new page number.  This was never an issue in previous versions of Adobe Reader as the page counter would instantly change once on the next page.

Are you referring to the page numbers that appear in the application itself, or those that appear on the page?

Also, what version of Reader are you using?

I am referring to the page number in the application itself.  When I scroll to the next page there is about a 5 second delay before the counter turns to that page.  I was just updated to Adobe Reader DC.  I have never had any issues with previous versions of Adobe.  When this happens there are no other applications running which could possibly be slowing down Adobe.

Try this: Go to Edit - Preferences - JavaScript and disable JavaScript. Now try it again. Is the delay still taking place?
