Page Order in Multi-page PDF

I cannot reorder pages in a multi-page PDF in Adobe Reader XI as I used to in an earlier version.  Previously when pages scanned from two-sided material were out of order it was possible to just drag them into correct order in the thumbnails on the left side of the window.  This does not work in XI.  How can pages be put in correct order in the PDF?

Use Adobe Acrobat for this. Reader can't do this.

Just to note that Reader could NEVER do this. You may not have realised it but you had (the similar looking) Acrobat, several hundred dollars worth of software, which you've now replaced with something free. Naturally, you've lost a lot.
