Pages number mismatch

Dear Adobe,

Since more than 20 years ago I use PC and all that time PDF was accompanying me. And so many times, more than 50%, I encounter page number mismatch between file numbering and text numbering in page corner. I believe this is well known problem.

And maybe it is time to take care about simplify the way, in which user can easily set which page will be first in his new PDF file.

I thing the most reason of such page number mismatches is that it is not clear how to set first page. Or not required or whatever. Please kindly take care. Thank you.
