pdf as an email attachment

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC for Mac Version 18.011.20038.

I am unable to attach a pdf as an email attachment.  This is the message that I get:

Please wait... If this message is not eventually replaced by the proper contents of the document, your PDF viewer may not be able to display this type of document.

You can upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Reader...by visiting http://www.adobe.com/go/reader_download.

I then used the link to download the "latest" version only to find out that the "latest" version is actually Version 2018.011.20035.

My Mac doesn't install the 035 version bc it can already detect the 038 version on my hard drive.

What should I do ?  I need an Acrobat Reader that will allow me to fill out forms and email them as attachments!

Please help!!!!

This looks normal: most apps will show this junk message. Email the file. Load the attachment. SAVE IT TO YOUR DESKTOP. Open.

    Hi Moonp,

Could you please confirm if you get this error message when you try to open the PDF or when you use the "Send as an email attachment" in Adobe Reader.

Please let us know if you are opening the PDF in a browser or in the desktop application.

If you get this error message when you try to open the PDF online, please download the PDF.

Then open the PDF in the application directly.

Let us know if you still experience the issue.

    Regards,

    Meenakshi
