PDF Document corrupted or damaged

Hi all,

I have got a Huwawei P20 Pro phone and I get sent a pdf attachment to my email once a week.

When I try and open it, I get a message saying the file is corrupt or damaged. The pdf is basically a weekly invoice and since I have had my P20, I have been unable to open any of the pdf files. All other pdf's from varuous sources, I can open without any problem. I have contacted Huwawei just to make sure its not a phone issue but they have said if I can open all other pdf's, it must be the way the company are sending the pdf. I then spoke to the company and they said they haven't received any complaints from customers. I can access the pdf on my laptop though! I have tried opening it using various apps which I downloaded via playstore that open pdf files but to no avail.

I hope someone can please help.

Thanks

Nas

Are you opening it on your laptop using Adobe Reader? If so, go to File - Properties - Description and look at the Application and PDF Producer values. What do they say?

    Hi,

On the laptop it is opening with Microsoft Edge.

I had no issues opening it on my Samsung S6 using Adobe acrobat reader. I would send you photos of what it says on properties when I save the file on my laptop but I don't know how to attach it on here but it does say opens with Microsoft Edge
